Who are we?
Tori Dennis is a Certified Professional Midwife, Registered Nurse, and licensed TN midwife. Brandice is a midwifery assistant.
Where do we work?
Midwifery services: Tennessee law protects your right to homebirth (TN Code: Title 63, Chapter 29), AND a midwife's right to practice. It is legal for midwives and parents to have a homebirth in Tennessee. Midwives can be prosecuted for practicing in AL, so Tori will not attend a laboring woman in AL. Tori is licensed in TN by the Tennessee Department of Public Health. Tori primarily practices in southern middle Tennessee (St. Joseph, TN, and the surrounding areas). Brandice attends all homebirths as a midwifery assistant.
Whom do we serve?
Alabama women have options in Tennessee! Alabama women who want natural birth options, out of hospital birth, and midwifery care should contact us for information on their Tennessee birth choices, including information on lodging. In addition, we serve Tennessee women in St. Joseph, Lawrenceburg, Olive Hill, Savannah, and surrounding areas. We provide care to Amish and Mennonite families in Tennessee as well.
